Meta explained on Thursday that the integration would “enable companies to share posts from Workplace with employees” over WhatsApp. Ujjwal Singh, Workplace’s head of product, said the integration with WhatsApp is designed to help bridge the gap between frontline employees and upper management. By bringing Workplace to WhatsApp, organizations will have an easier way to reach workforces, according to Meta. The prototype tech is essentially a glove that can reproduce a range of sensations in virtual worlds, including texture, pressure, and vibration. Last year, Microsoft announced it was removing the Linux kernel from the Windows OS image with WSL2 and would, instead, deliver it to users’ machines using Windows update. WSL enables developers to run a GNU/Linux environment – including most command-line tools, utilities, and applications – directly on Windows, unmodified, without a virtual machine or dual-boot setup.

In a letter dated July 2, Morgan Stanley said that Guidehouse, a vendor that provides account maintenance services to Morgan Stanley’s StockPlan Connect business, informed them on May 20 that it had been hacked. The information of some StockPlan Connect participants, including those in New Hampshire, were “obtained by an unauthorized individual.” Morgan Stanley said it “regularly” sends a secure file to Guidehouse of existing StockPlan long shareholders scheduled for escheatment and “engages Guidehouse to obtain current contact information for these StockPlan participants prior to the escheatment process commencing....

Rumors and questions about the group’s most recent disappearance dominated the conversation this week after Recorded Future security expert Dmitry Smilyanets shared multiple messages on Twitter from ‘0_neday’ – a known REvil operator – discussing what happened on the cybercriminal forum XSS. He claimed someone took control of the group’s Tor payment portal and data leak website. In the messages, 0_neday explains that he and “Unknown” – a leading representative of the group – were the only two members of the gang who had REvil’s domain keys....
